Trump’s Reign Begins As the 47th President of the USA

Donald Trump addressed his last pre-office rally at Washington’s Capital One Arena on Sunday, where he talked about a plethora of topics. Covering everything from World War 3, illegal immigrants’ invasion of the country to the TikTok ban. As cheers resounded for the new president-elect, Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again Victory Rally, Trump said, “By the time the sun sets tomorrow, the invasion of our country will have come to a halt.”

He also took the credit for the ceasefire between Israel and Palestine and called the ceasefire a “first step towards lasting peace in the Middle East.” This only happened because he assumed the office. “Biden said that they made the deal, well… First of all, it (the conflict) would have never happened if I were the President,” added Donald Trump. He also said that his administration would put an end to the Russia-Ukraine conflict now that he was in power.

Along with migration and geopolitical statements, Trump also addressed some domestic issues like the ban on TikTok over national security concerns. The social media platform was briefly shut down after a law banning it came into effect on Sunday. However, President Trump has agreed to  restore the services of the social media app in the USA on condition that within 90 days, its parent company, ByteDance, will have to sell their American subsidiary to non-Chinese owners or American owners. Trump said, “Frankly, we have no choice; we have to save it. A lot of jobs. We don’t want to give our business to China. We don’t want to give our business to other people.
