Daniel Battsek, the acclaimed film executive and producer known for his work at Film4, Miramax, Disney, and National Geographic, has been appointed President of Film at Lincoln Center (FLC). He officially steps into the role on May 1, succeeding Lesli Klainberg and reporting to the FLC board of directors.
Battsek brings decades of experience and an Oscar-winning résumé to the prestigious New York institution, which oversees the New York Film Festival and year-round programming that champions global cinema. As Director and Chairman of Film4 (2016–2024), Battsek oversaw award-winning films like Poor Things, The Banshees of Inisherin, The Favourite, and The Zone of Interest.
